He is survived by: his stepson-in-law Toby Gomez; his wife Judy; his children, Mike Verbeek and Julie Bergfield; his stepchildren, Benjamin Reed (Audra), Travis Harms (Sheila), Brian Schmidt, Heather Verbeek (Keeley), Jody Reed (Toby Gomez), Jerrica Reed (David Rinke) and Jolyne Reed; his sister Susan Spalsbury (Kelley); his siblings-in-law, Kay Reed (Dennis), Sharon Essink (Gene) and Bob Janssen (Nancy); his grandchildren, Jenevra Rowe (Jayme), Jerilyn Zarnick, Janda Turner, Brandon Verbeek (Saree), Chantelle Bergfield (Justin Snelling), Emily Bergfield (Sherry), Jaelyn Verbeek, Brynlee Verbeek and Aspen Verbeek; and his stepgrandchildren, Emily Vadali (Soumitri), Matt Gomez (Erin), Dylan Buss (Erin Plessel), Austin Yohe (Hayley Ulrich), Trevor Reed, Keoni Kala, Lily Reed, Madison Lachowski, Cameron Reed and Leon Bergfield.
