We bid farewell to Eugene Anderson of Royal, Nebraska, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 28, 2025 at the age of 89. Eugene touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Royal Edward and Bertha Mae Anderson (Hines); his sister Lavae; his brother-in-law Bruce McCloud; his parents-in-law, Opal and Clement Kimsey; his sister-in-law Janice Kimsey; his brother David; and his sister-in-law Nancy Kimsey.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Kimsey; his children, Brenda Hayes (Mark) of Bartley, Bonnie Brown (Mike) of McCook and Tony Peters; his grandchildren, Sydney Bauman (Randy) of McCook, Lyndsay McLaren (Heather Bisch) of California, Tyler Hayes (Lou) of Bartley and Darcie Keenportz (Josh) of Bartley; his great grandchildren, Ashlyn, Emmett, Payton, Trent and Cordell; and his sisters, Lois Witt (Roger) and Nancy Kelch (Kent). He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins and countless friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Memorial Methodist Church (105 East E Street, McCook, NE 69001).
