With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jerene D. Heesacker (Rushville, Nebraska), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Jerene left this world on September 29, 2025 at the age of 94, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Bruns and Delia Bruns; her husband Marvin C. Heesacker; her close friend Bob Hunter; and her siblings, Harlow, Lester, Wayne, Kathryn and Marvin.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Heesacker (Anita), Pat Heesacker, Sheila Sivertsen and Marvie Mulcahy (Pat); her grandsons, Colton Heesacker, Rylan Heesacker, Marvin Heesacker, Tommy Heesacker, Rance Sivertsen and Denis Mulcahy; and her great grandchildren, Kona, Jamison, Jazelle, Carleigh, Caidynn, Reignleigh, Radleigh, Nash, Wylder, Korbin, Brixten, Cohen, Cayson and Rhett.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (419 S Main St, Rushville, NE 69360). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at the Fairview Cemetery (3163 590th Rd, Rushville, NE 69360).
