He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Melvin Hotz (Tim) and Evelyn Mae Johnson Hotz; and his brother-in-law Wiley Smith. He is survived by: his siblings, Judy Smith, John Hotz (Linda) and Bill Hotz (Nancy); his children, Timothy Jason Hotz, Tonya Dawn Reeves (Edwin), Joshua David Hotz, Amanda Gail Hotz, Mackensie Shay Hotz, Burgundy Shizu Hotz, Amber Shelby Hotz Stevens, Christian Shane Taylor (Heather) and Tiffany Shannon Taylor-Martins (Micah); his grandchildren, Courtney Jene Trennapohl, Jacoby Allyssa Anderson (Kyle), Bayleigh Jade Hotz, Jordan Elizabeth Andrews (Lane), Alexandria Gail Toof (Johnny), Mya Dawn Reeves, Crimsun Leigh Hotz (Justin Eagle), Micah Mari Hotz, Hunter Warren Hotz Stevens, Thomas Carson Stevens Jr., Kaddi Lynn Stevens, Mathias, Kairi, Emiko Martins, Kristian Big Crow, Alan Wagner, Zane, Trinity and Temperance Taylor; and his great grandchildren, Brylyn Andrew Metzger, Willow Grace, Rowan Faith Toof, Kade Austin and Dawson Asher Anderson.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Extension Community Chapel (8557 450th Ln, Rushville, NE 69365).
