She is survived by: her husband Gary Thompson of St. Edward, NE; her children, Amy Ruisinger (Bob) of Bennet, NE and Ryan Thompson (Amy) of Ashland, NE; her grandchildren, Riley, Kennedy Ruisinger and Olivia Thompson; her sister Evelyn Spellman (Ed) of Omaha, NE; and her siblings-in-law, Shirley Porter of Casper, WY, Donna Sallach of Albion, NE, Mary Ann Thompson of Franklin, TN and Roger Thompson (Maryann) of Clay Center, NE. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Edward Catholic Church (805 Washington St, St Edward, NE 68660). A wake was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
