He was predeceased by: his mother Sophie Meyer; his wife Darlene Meyer of Palmer; his brothers, Coy Carr and Johnny Carr; and his brothers-in-law, Darold Goering and Roger Ruff.
He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Meyer of Grand Island, Steven (Jamie Meyer) and Lisa; his son-in-law Mark Washburn of Grand Island; his grandchildren, Brandon Meyer Joy Anderson of Omaha, Lindsay Meyer, Isidro Palma of Scottsdale, AZ, Ashley Washburn of Lincoln, Justin Washburn and Lily Snyder of Omaha; his great grandchildren, Kristian Washburn of Omaha, Maverick Washburn of Omaha and Nicolle Washburn of Omaha; his siblings, Wanda Beavers of Texas and Franklin Carr of Texas; and his sisters-in-law, Delores Goering of Grand Island and Dorothy Ruff of Broomfield, CO. He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
Memorials are suggested to St. John's Lutheran Church in Palmer.
