We announce the death of Barbara Bernice Townsend (Saint Paul, Nebraska), who passed away on May 30, 2026, at the age of 90. Barbara will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Perry Keegan and Geraldine Keegan; her husband Lloyd Paul Townsend; and her siblings, Kathleen Grier, Shirley Greer, Charles Keegan and Robert Keegan.
She is survived by: her children, David (Colleen Townsend), Paul (Veronica Townsend), Kathy Beladi, Beth (Reed Bittinger) and Mark (Helen Townsend); and her sisters, Patricia Schoen, Marilyn O'Neil and Elaine Keegan. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren.
