She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Jerabek and Agnes Jerabek (Derchowski); her husbands, Earl Markvicka and Gailord Obermiller; her son Mike Markvicka (Sandy Markvicka) of Fargo, N. D.; her grandson Kenny Markvicka; and her son-in-law Richard Rasmussen.
She is survived by: her children, Diana Markvicka (Timothy Markvicka) of St. Paul, Connie Reimers (Diane) of Grand Island and Richard Reed (Julie Rasmussen) of St. Paul; and her siblings, Betty Ambrose of St. Libory and John (Dee Jerabek). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of plants and flowers, memorials are suggested to Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and the St. Paul Fire Department and EMTs, per Vangie's wishes.
