He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence E. Smith and Shirley M. Smith (Butcher); and his brother Matthew Smith. He is survived by: his children, JJ Smith (Candi Hickey) of Lincoln, NE, Stuart Smith of St. Paul, NE and Melissa Graves of North Loup, NE; his grandchildren, Mckylie Smith, Daphne Smith, Gage Smith (Katherine), Hailee Smith, Tyson Smith, Nolan Smith, Adisyn Smith, Alandra Luby and Autumn Luby; and his siblings, Tom Smith of Greeley, NE, Paul Smith (Lisa) of Kenesaw, NE and Karen Bernt (Jim) of Greeley, NE. He is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
