He is survived by: his wife Cindi Ewers of St. Paul; his children, Tamie (JT Tomlinson), Paula (Matt Roberts), Mindy (Brandon Matlock), Mickey (Ryan Rasmussen) and Matt Mendyk of Grand Island; his grandchildren, Whitney, Tia (Austin), Ivy (Isaiah), Tanner, Jay, Terran, Trevon, Natalia, Shia, Paisley and Arjay; his siblings, Janie Rein of Grand Island, Max, Ruth Mendyk of Phillips and Margie (Ron Kitchen); his sister-in-law Vicki Ewers of Grand Island; Ellis, Abbott, Hank, Holt, Olsen and Navy. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
