With sadness, we share the passing of Robert Glenn Burkhardt Sr. of Saint Paul, Nebraska. Robert, born on January 17, 1941, passed away on October 9, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur B. Burkhardt and Elsie Burkhardt (Zlomke); his sisters, Evelyn Peetz (Arlen) and Donna Bierst (Harold); his brother-in-law Delbert Miller; and his brothers, Dale Burkhardt (Eilene) and Eugene "Gene" Burkhardt.
He is survived by: his sons, Robert G. Burkhardt Jr. of Central City, NE, Barrett Burkhardt (Shawn) of Central City, NE, Darin Burkhardt of Salam, OR and Brian Burkhardt of Minden, NE.; and his siblings, Darlene Miller of Grand Island, NE, Carolyn Scarborough (Paul) of St. Paul, NE, Gary Burkhardt (Sue) of St. Paul, NE and Rick Burkhardt of Central City, NE. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Stonewood Community Center (3820 Ironwood Ave, Grand Island, NE 68803).
