She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Buck" Lucht and Frieda "Blondie" Lucht (Muller); her husband James E. "Jim" Nelson; and her siblings-in-law, Sandi Scheer and George Dethlefs.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kim (Terry Kosmicki) and Andrea (Russell Sutherland) of St. Paul; her grandchildren, Krystal, Danny Barg, Ashley, Mike Lynch, Clark, Tara Kosmicki, Rilye and Tatum Sutherland; her great grandchildren, J. T., Jordan, Kinzley, Carter, Morgan, Emily, Blake, Lacey and Baby Sutherland; her half-brother Billy Lucht; and her sisters-in-law, Karen McCord of St. Paul and Beverly Dethlefs of Dannebrog. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
