The memory of Eleanor Joan Erthum of Saronville, Nebraska, who passed away on September 18, 2025 at the age of 93, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fay Erthum and Nance; her children, Kathy Sneed, Carol Krause, Mike and Gary Krause; her grandson Tom Krause; her sisters, Dorothy Gruenemeier, Carol Bagby and Shirley Beaver; and her brothers-in-law, Vic Gruenemeier and Jim Beaver.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Krause (Joan) of Ogallala, NE, Laura McNabb of Lakeland, FL and Sheryl Drudik (Paul) of Saronville, NE. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (312 S Saunders Ave, Sutton, NE 68979). A rosary was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
