She was predeceased by: her parents, Lennie Smith and Mary Smith (Brier); her husband Darrell Roemmich; her children, Ronald and Sharon; and her brothers, Richard, Donald and Norman Smith.
She is survived by: her sons, Thomas (Therese) and Lennie (Gayle); her son-in-law Steve Ewing; her sisters, Roberta McGregor of York, NE and Ester Barber of Lakewood, CO; and her sister-in-law Norma Pingry of Hastings, NE.. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sutton Memorial Chapel (804 S Saunders Ave, Sutton, NE 68979). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
