He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold F. Sucha and LaVonne Sucha; his wife Linda Karel; his in-laws, Jerry J. Karel Jr. and Wilma; his son Scott Sucha; his brother Dana Sucha; and his sister-in-law Mary Horkey.
He is survived by: his children, Alan Jay of Schuyler, Brian (Dawn) of Columbus, Chad (Irene) of Columbus, Deanna Herout (Barry) of Omaha and Katrina Reha (Chris) of Pender. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren.
