She was predeceased by : her father-in-law John B. Nepper; her husband Sylvester J. Nepper; her parents, Edwin Novotny and Alice Novotny; her brother Edwin A Novotny, Jr.; her sister-in-law Janet Novotny; and her parent-in-law Augusta Nepper.

She is survived by : her daughters, Monica Swanson (Matt), Veronica Nepper (Michael Helgesen) and Cynthia Lower (George); her grandchildren, Spencer Lower (Ruiying), Dylan Lower (Taylor), Haley Lower (Zach), Logan Lower (Kaitlyn) and Evan Lower; her great grandchildren, Jasper, Theodore and Salem; and her sisters-in-law, Delores and Loretta Ciecior (Norbert). She is also survived by six step-grandchildren.
