He was predeceased by: his father Ronald Swanson. He is survived by: his mother Carolyn Ruth Swanson (Nelson) of Gering; his siblings, Valerie Miller of Scottsbluff and Steven Swanson of Scottsbluff; and his nephew Eric Ebel of Denver, Colorado..
