He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Edwards and Harriette Edwards (Robb); his brothers, Howard, Roland and Robert Edwards; and his half-sister Bonnie Easley.
He is survived by: his wife Laura Edwards; his children, Rodney Edwards (MaryAnn) of Carthage, TX, Bradley Edwards (Jacqueline) of Phoenix, AZ, Lori Hoppes (Brett) of Scottsbluff, NE and Sheli Goodwin of Scottsbluff, NE; and his grandchildren, Laura Westrope (Adam) of Phoenix, AZ, Taryn Ley (Ryan), Jared Moreland (Marissa) of Phoenix, AZ, Jordyn Moreland of Greenville, SC, Michael Hoppes (Dani) of Seward, NE, Emily Mummert (Jedidiah) of Mitchell, NE, Nick Goodwin of Omaha, NE, Nate Goodwin of Lincoln, NE and Natalie Murphy (Jon) of Piedmont, SD. He is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to a memorial fund established in Albert's name at Harvest Valley Church (743 Winter Creek Dr. Scottsbluff, NE 69361).
