It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Chester Lee Cooper of Scottsbluff, Nebraska, who passed away on May 12, 2026, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Chester Lee Cooper to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parent Rosie Lee Lewis; his children, Elvis Cooper and Karen Cooper; and his siblings, Amelia Robertson, Leona Hornsby, Lee Willie Jefferson and Arnester Jones.
He is survived by: his children, Patricia Cooper, Kaye Cooper Saunders, Sheila Cooper Hale, Carrie Arguello and Chester Arguello; and his brother Willie Lee Lewis. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 17th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Reverence Funeral Parlor (2002 Char Ave, Scottsbluff, NE 69361). A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the WestWay Christian Church (1701 W 27th St, Scottsbluff, NE 69361).
