It is with sadness that the passing of Clarence Maupin of Scottsbluff, Nebraska is shared. Clarence, born on January 15, 1933, passed away on August 29, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Matthew Mitchell Maupin; his wife Alyce Mae Withrow; and his siblings, Roberta Norton, Dorothy Myers (Morris), Maxine Young (Harden) and Bob Maupin (Betty).
He is survived by: his sons, Daniel Dolan Maupin (Leah) of Corvallis, OR, Edwin Paul "Chip" Maupin (Cheri) of Brule, NE and Robert Phillip Maupin (Shannon) of Euless, TX; his great grandchildren, Riggin and Magnolia; and his siblings, Isabelle Kinney, Wayne Maupin (Diana) and Wendell Maupin (Betty). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gering Memorial Chapel (1755 11th St, Gering, NE 69341). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Central Church of Christ (1245 Five Rocks Rd, Gering, NE 69341).
In lieu of flowers the family would prefer donations be made in his name to the Legacy of the Plains museum (http://www.legacyoftheplains.org.) or to the International Conference on Missions (http://www.theicom.org.).
