It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dale Patrick Wright of Scottsbluff, Nebraska, born in Bridgeport, Nebraska, who passed away on August 16, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Wright and Alberta Wright; his sister-in-law Phyllis Hergenrader; and also, Paul and Rosa Arnold.
He is survived by: his wife Mildred Arnold of Scottsbluff, NE; his children, Justin Wright (Connie) of Waverly, NE and Sonia Sherman (Tom) of Ashland, NE; his grandchildren, Trevor, Mikah Wright, Taylor Sherman and Stefanie Snyder (Christian); his siblings, Ronald Wright (Ruth) of Chatham, IL and Rosanne Power (Craig) of Midway, UT; and his parents-in-law, Dr. Gary Hergenrader of Lincoln, NE, Claude and Carol Arnold of North Platte, NE.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to the Gering United Methodist Church and Western Nebraska Arts Center.
