He was predeceased by: his parents, George Atchison and Leone Atchison (Burke); and his wife Marilynn Siefers. He is survived by: his children, Darrel L Atchison Jr., Dulcey Mannel, Brandon Atchison (Carrie), Brenda Fanning (Ron) and Wendy Pino. He is also survived by 15 Grandchildren, and 19 Great Grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Vine United Methodist Church (2002 4th Ave, Scottsbluff, NE 69361).
