He was predeceased by: his mother Janett Bivens of Mary's Hospital; his daughter Betsy; his father Raymond Cross; his aunts, Florence and Rosalee; his nephews, Justin and Robert Kanniard; his parents-in-law, Kenneth Derrick and Marie Derrick; his siblings-in-law, Shelli Derrick and John Gray; and his friend Scotty.

He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Cress; his son Allan Cress (Raven Kenner); his grandchildren, Lane, Kaycen, Chase, Kayson and Hazel; his daughter Beth Cress (Ovie Overmier); his siblings, Brenda, Kirk (Melanie), Raylene (Carlin) and Richard (Camisha); his nieces and nephews, Nathan, Jerry, Mary and Adam; his sister Heidi (Rob); his nieces and nephews, Alison, Joy and Raybob; and his uncles, Butch (Candy) and Barney. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
