She was predeceased by : her parents, Lorenzo Sr. Ortiz and Clara Ortiz (Ramirez); the father of her children Luis Ramos; her siblings, Melecio Ortiz (Vietnam) and Margarite Maldonado; and her grandchildren, Marco Angelo Ramos and Maria Renteria.

She is survived by : her children, Joe Ramos, Louie Ramos Jr., Cynthia Cabrera and Sheryl Hernandez; and her siblings, Sabino Ortiz, Lorenzo Ortiz Jr., J. Marcos Ortiz, Epi Ortiz and Clara Garcia. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Viewing was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Reverence Funeral Parlor (2002 Char Ave, Scottsbluff, NE 69361). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
