We announce the death of Dorothy E Nichols (Scottsbluff, Nebraska), who passed away on July 31, 2026, at the age of 95. Dorothy will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Pester and Elizabeth Pester (Rein); her husband Lon; and her siblings, Mollie Cottrell, Lorraine Abel, Eddie, Jake, Henry and Alex.
She is survived by: her close friend Bonnie Jo Grabill; her daughters, Tami, Jenny and Lonelle; Mollie and Edna Marker. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
