She was predeceased by: her husband Melvin Huston; her parents, Kenneth Hutsell and Roxie Hutsell; her siblings, Jack, Charles, Roy, Harold, Mary June, Phyllis and Ruth; and her granddaughter Kate Lyn Morehead.

She is survived by: her former husband John Droddy; her children, John Droddy (Tammie) of Mitchell, Wayne Droddy (Yvonne) of Colbart, Danny Droddy of Redding, California and Karin Morehead (Ralph) of Lyman, Nebraska; her grandchildren, Liz Hendrick, Tina Droddy (Marquis), Dustin, Joshua, Brandon, Tasha, Shannon Droddy, Jesse Morehead and Ethan Morehead (Kendra); and her sister-in-law Gladys Hutsell. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made out to the Anchor Baptist Church.
