He was predeceased by : his father Frank Sabala Jr.; his grandparents, Frank Sabala Sr., Jessie Alonzo, Joseph Orozco and Angeline Correa; his great-uncle Angel Orozco; his uncles, Mike, Rudy Orozco, Joe and Anthony Sabala; and his brothers-in-law, David Martinez and Greg Becker.
He is survived by : his mother Virginia Bales (Orozco); his wife Agnes Suazo; his daughters, Sophia and Olivia Sabala; and his siblings, Cindy (Sam Campos), Mari (Mike Greco), Lisa Becker and Rick Bales. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
