He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Gustav Christian Simon and Grace May Simon; and his son Howie L. Simon. He is survived by: his sister Edna May Lofing; his wife Billie Jean Simon; his daughter Debra Simon; his grandson Daniel Hoban (Jessica); his great grandchildren, Samantha and Daniel; his grandchildren, Ryan Hoban and Sylvia Martinez (Patrick); his great grandchildren, Gabriel, Kuhlil and Brooklyn; his granddaughter Laura House (Ryen); his great grandchildren, Ezly, Rex, Khray, Hadassah and Lainey; his granddaughter Bianca Simon; and his great grandchildren, Juan Carlos (JC), Aydenn and Brielle. He is also survived by his family deeply — his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Grace Chapel (300 Valley View Dr, Scottsbluff, NE 69361).
