He was predeceased by: his parents, Amos Bruce and Grace Ione Carlson (Hankins); his son Corey Carlson; and his brother Lonnie Carlson. He is survived by: his wife Sue Carlson; his children, Jimmy Carlson (Sylvia) and Jaci Morris (Ted); and his sister Nola Thul (Dwayne). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was a door greeter at Walmart until he and Sue retired during the pandemic in 2020.
