We bid farewell to Jo Ann Harrison of Scottsbluff, Nebraska, born in Lyman, Nebraska, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 11, 2025 at the age of 84. Jo Ann touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As Jo Ann departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Jo Ann. Though Jo Ann may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her daughter Jane Elizabeth; her son-in-law Matthew Boice; and her sisters, Joyce (Ted Ring) and Marilyn (Carl Sheldon). She is survived by: her husband Jim; her children, Jim Harrison (Diana) of Morrill, NE, Cheryl Boice of Omaha, NE and Steve Harrison (Karyn) of Joshua, TX; and her siblings, Marvin Spath and Janice Thompkins. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Vine Church (2002 4th Ave, Scottsbluff, NE 69361).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to The Vine, United Methodist Church.
