It is with sadness that the passing of John Robert Hennings of Scottsbluff, Nebraska is shared. John Robert, born on October 21, 1946, passed away on October 9, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillie Elaine Hennings (Reed) and Raymond Hennings; his brother Kenneth Hennings; his parents-in-law, Ann and Lamar Johnson; and his sister-in-law Cathryn Spath.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Hennings; his brother Gary Hennings (Lee); his sons, Eric (Robin) and Michael Hennings (Tiffanie); and his grandchildren, Marc Hennings (Shawna), Amber Moore (Derek), Ashley Urdiales (Nate), Chelsie Hennings, Tanner Hennings and Olivia Taylor. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Reverence Funeral Parlor (2002 Char Ave, Scottsbluff, NE 69361).
Memorials may be made in care of the Vine Methodist Church or the Scottsbluff Fire Department.
