He is survived by: his wife Mary Ostry (Cushing) of Scottsbluff; his daughters, Yvonne Merrigan (Mike) of Scottsbluff and Debbie Greckel (Corey) of Scottsbluff; his grandsons, Nathan Greckel of Cozad and Blake Greckel (Sarah) of Cozad; his siblings, Art Ostry of Illinois, Larry Ostry (Simin) of Washington, Marie Alice Ostry of Omaha and Rita Ostry of Omaha; and his son Frank.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Agnes Catholic Church (2302 3rd Ave, Scottsbluff, NE 69361). A rosary will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to St. Agnes Catholic Church or St. Agnes Catholic School.
