It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marlis Irene Vaughn (Scottsbluff, Nebraska), born in Cope, Colorado, who passed away on December 23, 2018, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Y Jacobs and Leona H Jacobs (Strole); her sister Barbara Welschinger; her close friend Jim Casson; and her granddaughter Monica Jimenez.

She is survived by: her grandmother Mimi; her children, Teresa Swank (Ron) and Kevin Vaughn; her stepson Henry Vaughn (Sheryl); her daughter Mary Mauser; her sister-in-law Karen Weber (Dick); and her grandchildren, Chuck Swank (Lauren), Andrea Tritt, Nathan Vaughn and Michelle Boggs (Greg). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; 4 Step-Grandchildren; 4 great- grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, a trust will be set up for her great-grandchildren.
