He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Garvin and Edith Garvin; his wife Lydia Garvin; and his siblings, Fred D. Garvin (Betty), Leslie Wondercheck, Eva Garvin (Alfy) and Vivian Garvin.
He is survived by: his sister Eva Judd; his children, Fred A. Garvin of Scottsbluff, Cheryl Nelson (Paul) of Mitchell and Janet Gano (Cliff) of Jasonville Indiana; and his nieces and nephews, Dana Garvin, Joe Judd, Ernie Judd, Lloyd Judd, Donnie Judd, Ronnie Judd, Judy Judd, Marian Judd and Beth Wondercheck. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren.
