As we bid Ruth farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Ruth is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Specht and Juliana Specht; and her husband Sterling Jones of Gering, NE. She is survived by: her son Kent Auburn Jones; her daughter-in-law Marsha Jones of Casper Wyoming; her grandchildren, Kylie Jones of Casper, WY and Sarah Jennings (Trey) of Casper; her pet Remi; her niece Karin Jones; and her nephew Bob Goss of Scottsbluff.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 16th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Calvary Memorial Church (265 18th St, Gering, NE 69341). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
