She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Nerud and Maxine Fields; and her in-laws, John and Leona Koch (Bob Koch). She is survived by: her children, Julie Aschenbrenner (Duane) and Jason Koch (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Brock of Sara, JR and Jessica; her great grandchildren, Tucker, Sawyer, Sayler, Gauge, Reece, Rhett and Adleigh; and her siblings, Steve Nerud, Karen Von Lembke (Ron) of Greenwood Village, CO, Fran Strachan of Gering, Norma Blehm of Gering and Rhonda Koch (Jim) of Gering.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dugan-Kramer Funeral Home & Crematory (3201 Ave. B, Scottsbluff, NE 69361). A memorial service was held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Zion Evangelical Church (3617 5th Ave, Scottsbluff, NE 69361).
