We are sad to announce that on November 12, 2021, at the age of 90, Virginia Montanez of Scottsbluff, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Manual G Montanez Sr.; her son Stephen Montanez; her parents, Faustino Mota and Epitacia Mota; and her siblings, Raymond Mota, Santos Mota, Eleanor DiLulo, Mercedes Harrison, Manuela Camarillo and Phyllis Hernandez.

She is survived by: her brother John Mota; her children, Manuel Montanez, Jr. (Lynn), Delf Montanez (Alvina), Ralph Montanez (Francis Galindo) and Guadalupe Barrera; and her daughters-in-law, Cynthia Montanez, Sandra Montanez (Marlin Peterson) and Laurie Lopez (Vinson).
