He is survived by: his wife Jean Golder; his son Matthew Roemer (Betty Franks) of Jonesboro, AR.; his granddaughter Anna Mae Huggins (Tyler) of Jonesboro, AR.; his siblings, Otto Roemer of Scribner, Martin Roemer (Janice) of Rocky Ford, CO. and Donna Robinson of Imperial Beach, CA.; and his sisters-in-law, Janice Wulf (Harlan Hoops) of Fremont, Donna Golder of Hooper, Sandy Roemer of Fremont and Teddy.

“We are so sorry for your loss and pray for peace for your family. I worked with him for several years until he retired in Valley. Forever he will be immortalized by his "two weeks, two weeks" when asked about getting something done and when the motor went out in Hog Heaven how he left and came right back, taking the motor off of something in his shop and just hooked up like it was no big deal. We are grateful for all he did, his humor, and his hospitality. Peace be with you, Glenn and Kim”
