He was predeceased by: his mother Verna Mae Plautz (Eikenhorst); and his parents-in-law, Lester and Ruth Ocken. He is survived by: his wife Janet Plautz of Goodyear, AZ; his daughters, Dr. Jennifer Lynn Roll (Chris) of Maple Grove, MN and Jill Marie Powers (Larry) of Scottsdale, AZ; his grandchildren, Ethan Oldham, Ryan Powers, Abigail Oldham, Elliot Oldham and Zachary Powers; his brothers, Terry (Karin Plautz) and Stan (Sharon Plautz); and his siblings-in-law, Janice (Darold Schulz), Connie (Terry Hackbart), Frankie Phillips and Dennis Ocken. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the Zabka - Perdue Funeral Home - Seward (410 Jackson Ave, Seward, NE 68434). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Grace Lutheran Church (746 Pinewood Ave, Seward, NE 68434). A burial will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Seward Cemetery (1700 State Hwy 15, Seward, NE 68434).
