He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph "Murph" Jelinek and Eleanor Jelinek (Pospichal); his parents-in-law, Ernest and Olga Janak; his brother Gary Jelinek; and his siblings-in-law, Marion Janak, Larry Janak, Bernedette (Janak), William Froehner, John Hladky and Rose Jelinek.
He is survived by: his wife Loretta Jelinek of Seward, NE; his daughters, Barb Tesch (Brad) of Fountain Hills, AZ, Brenda Hartman (Jay) of Seward, NE and Bonnie Knisley (Jamie) of Goehner, NE; his grandchildren, Drew Wieseman (Amber), Allison Reed (Jess), Travis Tesch, Jacob Christian (Allison), Colton Hartman, Carley LaVelle (Broc) and Gabe Knisley; his great grandchildren, Teagan, Kaysen, Tripp Wieseman, Cove, Banks Christian, Tenley, Tanner Reed and Lainey LaVelle; and his brothers, Allan "Buzz" Jelinek and Dan Jelinek (Peggy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
