She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Schaefer and Margaret Schaefer; her husband Gary Plautz; her son Steve Plautz; her brother Jerry Schaefer; her parents-in-law, Don and Betty Plautz; her siblings-in-law, Jack White, Dennis Plautz and Patricia Walker; her sibling's children, Michael Wagenknecht and Peggie Masek; and her great-nephew Cameron Brecka.
She is survived by: her children, Stacy Kopecky (Jeremy) of Garland and Scott Plautz (Tracy) of Lincoln, Nebraska; her grandchildren, Karter, Keaton, Kysen Kopecky, Sydney and Mason Plautz; her siblings, George Schaefer (Phyllis) of Garland, Darlene Buresh (Leonard) of Lincoln, Tom Schaefer (Dana) of Garland, Diane Wagenknecht (Cork) of Garland, Mary Anne White of West Point, Art "Butch" Schaefer (Jodi) of Seward and Rick Schaefer (Melody) of Garland, Nebraska; and her sister-in-law Patricia Plautz of Lincoln, Nebraska.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church (152 Pinewood Ave, Seward, NE 68434). A rosary was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
