He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Cihal and Sylvia Cihal (Eret); and his sisters, Betty Lou Kobza and Nadine Ann Dobesh-Hruska. He is survived by: his daughters, Courtney Urbanek (Brian) and Katie Cihal; his grandsons, Christian Urbanek and Patrick Urbanek; and his sister Joyce Marie Krska. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Zabka - Perdue Funeral Home - Seward (410 Jackson Ave, Seward, NE 68434). A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Assumption Catholic Church (300 Pine St, Dwight, NE 68635). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Assumption Catholic Cemetery.
