He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleo Owens and Constance Owens (Pariset); his parents-in-law, Alvin and Bonnie Winkelman; his brother Rex Owens; and his siblings-in-law, Delmar Borchers, Fran Liston and Al Winkelman.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Winkelman of Paul's Lutheran Church; his children, Dana Scott of Lincoln, Stacey Owens (Shannon) of Utica and Wendy Wettstead (Brock) of Lincoln, Nebraska.; his grandchildren, Brianna Scott, Peyton Owens, Jasmine Codr (Peyton), Alyssa Samson (Parker), Grady Owens, Owen Wettstead and Ella Wettstead; his great grandchildren, Kyrin, Jamar, Maya, Xanthea, Amhara and Brooks; and his siblings-in-law, Wanda Owens, LaVerne Raad (Imad), Fred Winkelman (Rose) and Duane Liston.
