She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolph Dietze and Eva Dietze; her husband Clarence Baack; her son Edward; her brothers, Russell and Dwayne; her children-in-law, Irene Baack and Larry Prochaska; and her stepgrandchildren, Renae Ernesti, Kadan DeBuse and Nicholas Rathbone.
She is survived by: her children, Charlene (Lloyd McCarter) of Warrensburg, MO and James Eberly (Janet Prochaska) of Milford, NE; and her sister-in-law Charolotte Dietze (Sally Dietze). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 15 step grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren and 1 step great great grandchild.
A memorial gathering was held on Sunday, May 10th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Volzke Funeral Home (147 Main St, Seward, NE 68434). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Our Redeemer Lutheran Church (3743 Marysville Rd, Staplehurst, NE 68439).
