With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lois J. Hayek of Seward, Nebraska, born in Oakland, California, who passed away on October 30, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Jarvis M. Bolen and Wanda Elizabeth Bolen (Tiffany); her husband Thomas Hayek; her son Michael Hayek; her grandsons, Donald James Hayek, Jr. and Alan Thomas Hofer; and her brothers, David Bolen, Claude Hall, Irv Jones, Eugene (Kate Hayek), Cleo (Jennie Robak) and Norbert Cerny.
She is survived by : her children, Donald Hayek (Glora), Ulysses, Teresa Hofer (Eric), Linda Levi (Kevin) of Good Thunder, MN and Matthew Hayek (Debbie); her grandchildren, Joshua Thomas Hayek, Crystal Starr, John Robert Hayek, Jamie Lee Hayek, Ross Michael Hofer, David Michael Hayek, Hanna Marie Hofer, Samantha Jo Hayek, Joseph Matthew Hayek, Saratoga Jean Hayek, Shailee Noelle Hayek, Cheyenne Jade Hayek and Thunder Thomas Hayek; her great grandchildren, Peyton Hayek, Lillian, Clara Broderick and Harper Meierdierks; her sister Sandy Hall; and her siblings-in-law, Rose Jones, Robert Hayek of Morrill, NE, Phyllis Cerny of Chicago, IL and Bernie (Donald Chermok). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
