He was predeceased by: his father Bernard Johnson; his wife Valerie Johnson; his sister Denise Sebek; and his great grandchild Julian Boyd Steiner. He is survived by: his mother Ruth Johnson (Sheumaker) of Des Moines, IA; his children, Charles Rodgers, Julie Rodgers, Lincoln, Brandie Johnson, Desirae Garbers of Cleveland, OH, Chris Dunning, Nick Dunning and Michael Johnson; and his sister Darlene McElwee. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren.
