He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Steckly and Agnes Steckly (Schweitzer); his wife Wilma Steckly; his parents-in-law, Orvil and Millie Miller; his brothers, Vilas and Ken Steckly; his siblings-in-law, Ray, Evelyn Yeackley, Keith, Delores Miller, Leonard Grieser and Darlene Miller; and his granddaughter Kim Klintworth.
He is survived by: his children, Frank Steckly (Joy) of Beaver Crossing, Brent Steckly (Marita Jo) of Beaver Crossing, Melody Kidd (Ray) of Lincoln and Sally Bender (Merwin) of Moundridge, KS; his grandchildren, Rich Steckly (Shanna), Dan Klintworth, Andy Steckly (Jessica), Jeremy Steckly (Shannon), TJ Steckly, Ashley Wise (Matt), Eric Kidd, Juan Bender and Isaac Bender; and his siblings-in-law, Darlene Steckly, Zona Steckly, Betty Grieser, Janice Roth (Lonny) and Earlis Miller. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren: numerous nieces and nephews.
