He was predeceased by: his parents, Piet Peters and Minnie Peters (Jacobs); his wife Lucille Brym; his siblings, John Peters, Bill Peters (Marietta), Nellie Brockeveldt (Morrie), Marie Kozisek (Joe), Dorothy Zegers (Carl) and Christine Kozisek; and his brother-in-law Henry Brockevelt.
He is survived by: his children, Julie Schaefer (Gary), Delores Pflueger and Robert Peters (Sharon); his grandsons, Matt, Jason Schaefer, Nate and Austin Pflueger; his sister Virginia Brockevelt; and his sister-in-law Norma Jean Peters. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
