Phyllis Schaefer Obituary

She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Dvorak and Lillian Dvorak; her brother Eldon Dvorak; her parents-in-law, Arthur and Margaret Schaefer; her siblings-in-law, Elaine Plautz, Jerry Schaefer, Dennis Dvorak, Gary Plautz and Jack White; her sibling's children, Michael Wagenknecht, Steve Plautz and Peggie Masek; and her great-nephew Cameron Brecka.

She is survived by: her husband George Schaefer Sr.; her children, George Jr. (Melissa), Myron (Wendi) and Brenda (Mike); her grandchildren, Jordan Burhoop (Michaela), Brandon Schaefer, Kennedy Schaefer, Briahtia Nottlemann (Jared), Briley Hakel (Nolan), Turner Schaefer, Mitchell Sebek (Abigail), Emily Schaefer, Brynn Sebek and Koston Schaefer; her great grandchildren, Tucker Nottlemann and Baby Hakel; her extended family, Darlene Buresh (Leonard), Tom Schaefer (Dana), Diane Wagenknecht (Cork), Mary Anne White, Art "Butch" Schaefer (Jodi) and Rick Schaefer (Melody); her sister Delores Dvorak; and her sister-in-law Cindy Bias. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

Memorials may be directed to the family to establish a fund to assist young cancer patients whom Phyllis prayed deeply for each week as she would pass them in the oncology office, or to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in honor of Phyllis's enduring commitment to her faith.
