He is survived by: his wife Helen Jean Timms; his children, Julie Novacek (Rick), Doug Holeka and Becky Codr (Bob); his grandchildren, Chad Novacek (Steph), Niki Svoboda (Trevor), Cortney Steffensmeier (Andrew), Dylan Codr (Anna) and Drew Codr (Maddie Brockman); and his sisters-in-law, Bobbi Holeka, Mary Ann Aerts and Roxie Timms.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 2:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church (108 W Brainard St, Brainard, NE 68626). A rosary was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery (2046 30 Rd, Brainard, NE 68626).
